138 Posts Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) : Last date 03/03/2017

Union Public Service Commission  (UPSC), Shahjahan Road, Dholpur House, New Delhi – 110069 will hold the  Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination (GEOL) 2017  commencing from  12th May 2017  for recruitment to  following 138 posts of Geologist in various departments of Government of India. The examination will be held at various centers across the country.

  • Geologist Group A : 40 posts in Geological Survey of India, Age : 21-32 years as on 01/01/2017
  • Geophysicist Group A : 40 posts in Geological Survey of India, Age : 21-32 years as on 01/01/2017
  • Chemist Group A : 25 posts in Geological Survey of India, Age : 21-32 years as on 01/01/2017
  • Jr. Hydrogeologists (Scientist B) Group A : 33 posts in Central Ground Water Board, Age : 21-35 years as on 01/01/2017
Application Fee : 
Rs. 200/- to be paid  either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala /State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/ Debit Card. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Female candidates.
