National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) is a key functionary of Indian
Space Research Organization (ISRO) having its headquarter at Balanagar,
Hyderabad Striving to realize the Indian Space Vision through Earth
Observation. It is responsible for the Ground Segment of Remote Sensing
Programme through satellite data acquisition, archival, processing,
dissemination, Remote Sensing Applications, Training and Capacity
Building.
NRSC invites Online applications for following Temporary positions of
Research Scientists :- Research Scientist : 19 posts (B.E./B.Tech in CSE/ECE/IT - 11 posts, BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc. in Geo-Informatics / Geomatics/ Remote Sensing/ equivalent - 08 posts), Pay Scale : ₹ 15600 - 39100 Grade Pay ₹5400/-, Qualification : BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc. degree should be in First Class with an aggregate of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA of 6.84 on a 10 Point scale., Age : 18-35 years.
The positions of Research Scientists are purely temporary and selected
candidates shall be engaged initially for a period of two years,
extendable up to the validity of the project. In any case, the maximum
period of engagement shall not exceed five years.
