Online applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment for following 2200 posts of Probationary Officers in State Bank of India  (SBI) :


  • Probationary Officers : 2200 posts (UR-1028, OBC-590, SC-351, ST-231) (PH-60) (Backlog-168), Pay Scale : Rs. 23700 - 42020, Age : 21-30 years as on 01/04/2016, Qualification : Graduation in any disciplines as on 01/09/2015, Student in the final year / semester of graduation may also apply.
Application Fee : Rs.600/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWD) to be paid online.

Examination : Examination will be in two parts i.e. Preliminary and Mains.   Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online.  Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive Test by typing on the computer. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered. 

No. of Chances for Examination :  General - 4, OBC and PWD -7, SC/ST - No Limit
